Well, our little one is still happily baking and has not made an appearance yet! So today, I’m spending some time finishing up a few blog posts, organizing summer learning activities for Bundle, baking, and praying for patience!
Well, spring is well underway, and I thought it was about time for a short little garden update!
March and April have felt like a whirlwind of activity for our family. Anyone else? It seems like even with all of our scheduled events, we barely spent any time together! We purposely set aside this last weekend to do something fun as a family — just Hubby, Bundle and I — before little Baby arrives in a few weeks, and I’m SO glad we did!
So my goal was to post about our fun library finds once each month, but with baby on the way, that has proved a bit more difficult than once imagined!
Happy Monday, everyone!
A couple of years ago, when I completely made over A Fresh Brewed Faith, I began regularly posting something called the “Weekly Brew” every Monday.
The storm we were prepping for finally hit!
Of course, the usual indoor activities of Netflix, playing “dinosaur” – a glorified game of chase – and lots of naps have happened too. I’m working hard on being content in the quiet, still moments. I’m glad God reminded me this weekend to slow down a little with this beautiful storm.
Every Wednesday is library day for us. That means story time for Bundle, quiet shelf browsing time for me (until baby comes! 🙂 ) and stacks and stacks of books for all of us.
This week we really went a bit crazy…but we found some great gems!
Another year, another new start.
Our family’s plans for the weekend involve a second Christmas celebration and church on Sunday with extended family, lots of laughter and delicious food, and relaxing at home later with our furry friends.
I’m very much looking forward to the year ahead. Fresh starts always seem like a good idea. I can’t wait to see what it brings and what amazing things God will do.
Happy New Year!
Well, it is officially winter and Christmas is only four days away!!
Our holiday plans include lots of family, lots of great food and coffee, and lots of laughter and love.
I just wanted to wish anyone who stumbles across my blog a safe and Merry Christmas. May your holidays be blessed and bright.
I admit, this holiday season has felt pretty chaotic, and it’s been difficult for me to find time to simply sit and dwell on God’s Word. Time seems to fly right out the door with this arctic tundra wind.
