I’d be lying if I said I didn’t absolutely love a good fairy tale. And guys, if you’ve got a preschooler at home who loves them too, these books are gold!!
So my goal was to post about our fun library finds once each month, but with baby on the way, that has proved a bit more difficult than once imagined!
While working on this dinosaur post series, I thought it might be nice to add a list of our favorite dinosaur books and resources that we’ve found and used throughout our dinosaur unit study.
Wednesday is library day for us. And while every library day is not this dramatic, we’ve certainly had our moments. I’m thinking (mostly hoping) there might be a few others who can relate…

The storm we were prepping for finally hit!
Of course, the usual indoor activities of Netflix, playing “dinosaur” – a glorified game of chase – and lots of naps have happened too. I’m working hard on being content in the quiet, still moments. I’m glad God reminded me this weekend to slow down a little with this beautiful storm.

This week we really went a bit crazy…but we found some great gems!
100 posts – yay!
While this blog began (and has continued primarily) as a food blog, I am hoping to steer A Fresh Brewed Faith more towards a lifestyle blog. What better post to start than the hundredth one?
Any other teachers out there excited about a fresh start, new activities/curriculum, or even new décor for the new year? I am 110% that nerdy teacher who gets pumped about changing bulletin boards. Fair warning. 😀
Having recently finished her book Four, Veronica Roth sent me straight back into the wonderful and extremely addictive Divergent fandom. I couldn’t be happier! 😀 If you’ve never read the series or seen the movies, or just aren’t interested, feel free to tune out now! I’m
an obsessed a shameless fan and probably always will be.
So it’s 20 degrees with a windchill of who-knows-let’s-not-go-outside-to-find-out where we live! So with lots of indoor play ahead, I put together this little invitation to play for my library-loving daughter to enjoy.
