Is there nothing more beautiful than the promise of Hope?
After five years of blogging and nearly two years of running A Fresh Brewed Faith, I wanted to devote a post to the reasons behind this blog’s name, and why I’ve chosen to make blogging such a passionate hobby of mine.
What does your “spring break” look like? Traveling to see family? Taking a day or two off work? Having all your kids home from school? Catching up on spring cleaning? Planting a garden?
Yes, it’s true – this post was supposed to be a fabulous, springtime lemon muffin recipe. Spoiler alert…it’s not! 😀
We officially have just under 10 weeks left before we meet the newest little addition to our family! I think it’s also safe to say that I am officially in crazy-mama-nesting-mode.
I have a confession to make.
Lately my desire to be in control of my life has far outweighed my desire to trust in the Lord.
This is the last week of February, and some of these chilly, grey mornings find me discouraged, tired, and insecure. Late winter burnout is a real thing for our family! I thought I’d gather a few of my favorite Bible verse images and post them together.
Sometimes our battlefront is right here. In the few minutes of hot coffee we get to enjoy before the sun wakes up. In the chill of the dark, February morning air. In the quiet before the chaos of “Mom, where’s my other sock?!”
At the end of some weekends, we feel rested, rejuvenated, ready to get Monday started. At the end of others, we feel weary, stressed, and uncertain of whether or not we can make it through another week so soon.
Last week we found ourselves browsing at Home Depot, just for fun – a luxury of sorts, especially for Hubby who adores hunting through the used wood pile and discarded paint colors.
