Sometimes our battlefront is right here. In the few minutes of hot coffee we get to enjoy before the sun wakes up. In the chill of the dark, February morning air. In the quiet before the chaos of “Mom, where’s my other sock?!”
Happy Friday, friends! This week has had it’s fair share of crazy in terms of sickness (again) and schedules, so I’m feeling pumped about this drizzly, beautiful start to the weekend.
In honor of the freezing weather, my Favorite Things Friday theme is warmth – all the cozy and snug things I’m loving this week. ❤
I love how summer berries feel like a sweet and forbidden delicacy in the middle of winter.
Although baking is fairly high on my priority list during Christmastime, there are some days that we just can’t fit it in. Sadly, we don’t have a Starbucks nearby either, for an emergency coffee-scented atmosphere. Thankfully though, that doesn’t mean my house can’t smell like a coffee house or a freshly baked holiday dessert, though!
The holiday season has me craving chocolate like crazy! And what goes better with chocolate than coffee? I am a mocha lover 110%.
While making this, I had a lengthy and very sweet conversation with my daughter about why this coffee cake does not actually contain coffee.
I used to publish “Wordless Wednesday” blog posts several years back, posts with only photos, no writing.
The early August flowers have been so beautiful, I can’t help but to try to capture them every chance I get!
Happy National Coffee Day!
In honor of the sweet caffeinated nectar we love so much, I thought I’d post ten of my favorite coffee recipes. I’ve got a huge range — from blended, to iced, to freshly pressed — and even espresso desserts. Our beloved java doesn’t really need any introductions, does it?
I’m SO insanely thankful and excited that it is now officially fall!
