March – the month of crazy wind, gorgeous early-spring flowers, and of course, green-colored everything.
We officially have just under 10 weeks left before we meet the newest little addition to our family! I think it’s also safe to say that I am officially in crazy-mama-nesting-mode.
Last week we found ourselves browsing at Home Depot, just for fun – a luxury of sorts, especially for Hubby who adores hunting through the used wood pile and discarded paint colors.
The storm we were prepping for finally hit!
Of course, the usual indoor activities of Netflix, playing “dinosaur” – a glorified game of chase – and lots of naps have happened too. I’m working hard on being content in the quiet, still moments. I’m glad God reminded me this weekend to slow down a little with this beautiful storm.
I used to publish “Wordless Wednesday” blog posts several years back, posts with only photos, no writing.
The early August flowers have been so beautiful, I can’t help but to try to capture them every chance I get!
Whether you’re an avid gardener with too much basil on your hands, or simply want a thrifty way to have a kitchen staple in the spice/herb cabinet, drying basil is a fun, simple way to utilize what you already have in your garden.
Well, we are about two months in on our family adventure of being a vendor at our local farmer’s market! And it has definitely been a worthwhile and rewarding adventure. 🙂
Blue skies, vibrant flora, sweet berries and tomatoes…
There’s nothing quite like summer.
Our family is trying something new this year.
We decided in April to join the ranks of our local farmer’s market as a vendor selling fresh produce, flowers, and baked goods.
