Change can either be thick mud you drag your feet through or a deep, brave dive into the unknown. I have to be honest and say that I’ve been dragging my feet through this upcoming change for more time than I’d like to admit.
After a decade of blogging and over six years here on A Fresh Brewed Faith I have decided to retire my blog. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and for the last ten years, it has truly been both a tranquil escape and a great form of trauma therapy.

I’ve been hanging onto this blog hoping for more intentional blogging inspiration, but every time I write or think about writing I feel the call to something a little different. This is, in a way, a closing of a chapter. It is also in a hundred ways a new beginning! I’m not exactly certain where my writing will take me next, but with several new writing projects on the horizon, I am filled with hope and excitement.

After publishing my first book, Worship in the Waiting, I have decided to pursue book writing a little more seriously. In order to do that though, I won’t have time to plan blog content, and publish and promote posts in the way I would want if I were to continue here at A Fresh Brewed Faith. However, I have saved and kept all my posts, so if you’re dying for a recipe or any particular content, message me and I’ll get it to you! I will keep my Pinterest and Instagram accounts up and running and you can always find me there. I will be closing my Facebook page, though.
If you’re still around and reading through this, I have nothing but gratitude for you.
Thank you for following. For reading. For helping me grow a readership to begin with. For cheering me on. For nominating me for various blogging awards and featuring me as a guest writer. For purchasing and reading my devotionals and book. For sharing the love.
To all of you awesome readers and followers, let this last post be both your permission slip and your anthem to believe in yourself. Rarely do we get the opportunity to begin a new chapter without closing another. So if that’s where you find yourself at now, or any time in the future, don’t be afraid to remove your feet from the mud to take that leap and believe.

And to those of you who said, “Never stop writing, Lisa…” thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul!! It’s been a balm and an inspiration every time I’ve heard it.
And no worries…I will keep writing… 😉
Good things are coming.

Love, blessings and peace out, sweet readers! It’s been a blast!
